On Wednesday Peter Burling came to visit Tauranga Intermediate School. Peter Burling is an Olympic medal winner for New Zealand. Peter Burling and Blair Tuke won a silver medal in the 49er class sailing at the London 2012 Olympic Games. The London Olympics was Peter's second Olympic Games. He was New Zealand's youngest Olympic sailor when he competed in his first Olympics in Beijing in 2008. We hope he will win a gold medal at the next Olympic games in Rio de Janeiro, 2016.
